How do you spend your free time during a five-month stint in orbit around the earth aboard the International Space Station?
If you’re Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, you keep yourself busy tweeting and posting videos about what the experience is like. And, if you happen to be musically inclined – as Chris Hadfield is – you can put together a music video.
Hadfield, who returned to earth in mid May, covered David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,” revising it just a bit slightly and accompanying it with his guitar – which spends time in the video floating through the space station and gives you an idea of the size of the thing that’s orbiting above our heads.
Will we see more music videos from space? Depends on whether any aspiring singers can make it through astronaut training.
